As well as the art there will be a huge vintage toy exhibition, live music, YouTube visuals mixed live by @timineaux , A pop up shop selling both vintage and new Star Wars merchandise, a screening of ‘A New Hope’ and much much more! This is going to be one hell of a party…. Fancy dress is not essential but feel free to come as your favourite character:)

Not only have we been super busy getting everything ready for our Star Wars show but we have more exciting news to finally share!
The UK is going to be getting it’s very on Designer Toy Con, ToyCon UK! After a long chat with two good friends, Jonjo Glynn and Ben Hart, we all came to the consensus that the UK was crying out for event and we decided instead of just talking about it we should actually make it happen!
So, after months of planning, we are super happy and excited to be able to finally let the world know about ToyCon UK! All the info is below and the list of artist who have already confirmed they would like to be involved is truly humbling, this should be one hell of a day out. Three Designer Toy fans Jonjo Glynn, Ben Hart and Barry Darnell have announced the launch of the UKs first ever designer toy convention ToyCon UK. Taking place on Saturday 6th April 2013 at Baden Powell house in Kensington the event will bring together the UK’s finest Toy Artists, Customizers and Vendors in the first dedicated event of its kind in Europe.
The UK’s designer toy scene has gone from strength to strength with both old and new artists gaining notoriety both here and across the pond in the more established US scene.
From established producers to talented individuals producing stunning one off artworks ToyCon UK will be a chance to see the very latest and greatest from the biggest names on the UK toy scene. As well as exhibitors there will be talks and workshops, prize giveaways, live painting, show exclusives and a whole plethora of artist signings giving fans the chance to meet their favourites.
Exhibitors already confirmed include:
A Little Stranger, Cris Rose, Doktor A, Fugi.me, The Hang Gang, Lunabee, JPK, Matt Jones, Mintyfresh, Play Lounge, TADO, Triclops, The Tarantulas, Squink, Ume Toys & Unbox Industries!

We are so happy to finally be able to share the details of our next show with you all…To commemorate Star Wars day ‘May the 4th’ FullCircle Gallery Leeds, The Hang Gang and Leeds Alternative Comics, have got together to host the ultimate celebration of the greatest films ever made!
Starting on Friday May the 4th from 6pm, FullCircle will be transformed into a gallery not so far far away, hosting not only a huge display of vintage Star Wars toys including over 100 carded figures and boxed vehicles, but a contemporary / lowbrow look at the Star Wars universe supplied by over 30 amazing artists including:

All the art will be available to purchase on a first come first served basis and any remaining items will be available from the Hang Gang website after the exhibition ends. There will also be vintage collectibles available to purchase too, including loose & carded figures plus other rare gems. Live music will be supplied by the Cantina Band and the evening will culminate with a screening of Star Wars, watching this master piece on mass with a beer in your hand, what more could any fanboy ask for.
Fancy dress is not compulsory but feel free to don the best Star Wars get up and come as your favourite character, this is a celebration after all! And for those who are peckish there will be Star Wars inspired food and drinks available from the ‘Wookie Cookies’ cook book!
There will only be 100 tickets released for the opening party on Friday May the 4th and they are expected to sell out very quickly. If you want to secure your place they will be available from 12 noon on Friday 30th March from our store. Tickets for the Friday are priced at £10 each + 50p booking fee.
For those who miss out on the opening party, don’t panic! There is still plenty of chance to see the exhibition, FullCircle will be open 10am – 6pm on both the Saturday and Sunday and there will be screenings of Star Wars again on both days starting at 6pm.
Tickets to the exhibition on the Sat / Sun are £3 / £2 concessions and children.
To watch the film on Sat / Sun is an additional £5 / £4 concessions and children.
There are no pre-bookable tickets for the Sat / Sun, it’s pay on the door only.
Please note on the Saturday and Sunday there will be no parking directly outside the gallery but there is plenty of free parking on the adjacent streets.
